Find Your Way Back » Home » Snapshots » QUESTION: WHAT IS THIS?
On a hike through the jungle in Laos, we were introduced to a curious object. What do you think this is? (Get your guesses in now. We’ll be posting the answer tomorrow.)
That looks like a trap of some kind.
a compass
Musical instrument.
A device for measuring water height for Rice irrigation accuracy
It is used for target practice – a popular sport in Laos!It will be in the Olympics in a few years.
Katniss Everdeen’s first attempt at fashioning a bow?
A tampon?
Dental floss
Sextant
Something to do with artificial insemination for elephants? Or, borrowing from Robin—dental floss for elephants?
BTW, Did you take the trek through the jungle outside Luang Prabang to visit the primitive Camus people in the mountains of Laos…?
We sure did, Karl. Stay tuned to this channel.
OMG! Once again we have trekked along the same path!
I’m looking forward to seeing your video…must see TV!

Survey equipment?
Some kind of Weather Divining Fishing device.
A tool to harvest something up high. Maybe fruit or small animals.
A building or measuring tool
wood cutter for roofs
Is it a Ford Fusion? I get paid fifty cents every time I mention a Ford product: like the Fusion or Focus (Thanks, for the opportunity to earn $1.50)
This has something to do with that building behind. I am guessing a wooden nail gun for thatching.
Some kind of a level?
I think it’s a rat trap!!!
A better mousetrap
Best bong ever.
some kind a Instrument ?
