Doesn’t SE Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos) kinda grow on you—the landscapes in the countryside, the sweet people, the simplicity, the customs, etc. If you’re anything like me, you’ll miss it a lot, once you return to this part of the world and get back into your “Western” groove.
Meanwhile, I’m looking forward to your next “report” from The World.
Thank you so much for this beautiful and heartfelt film Franny, your unique voice continues to teach us and reach out to us who are so far away. Yesterday’s tragic events in our country have yet to be incorporated and comprehended by us. As your first commenter said, it was a joy to behold these beautiful young faces after the grief-stricken faces of the children and their parents in Connecticut.
It was fun to see a bug as big as Finn! What an experience! It’s hard to imagine what the children in the village school thought of the Flackett-Levins. I guess your family is its own one-room school for this year. love,Aunty W
I love that you took that walk. I love that you took those videos and those photos and shared them with us. I love that you met those children and told about your visit. I wonder what they thought of you? Oh, to be a giant bug on the wall of that 3 room school house, and hear (with translation) what they thought of your visit!
Wow! After the events in the states…this was beautiful.
So good to see Franny.
A wonderful report Franny!

Absolutely beautiful and touching. Thank you.
It made me cry, and I needed to cry. Thank you.
