When we set off on the trip, Finn had never picked up a pool cue. Now, 53 days later, we make a point of seeking out a pool hall wherever we can find one. The kid is officially hooked, proudly proclaiming “Now I have a sport.”

I’m sitting here laughing out loud, just delightful. And wondrous somehow.
impressive. Unorthodox bridge he has.
You: Finn, look, the Taj Mahal!
Finn: Yeah, nice. Can I have fifty thousand rupees? I’m supposed to play a eunuch in nine ball.
Fantastic Finn!! Great video and a great sport.
BTW, Finn, your great-aunty Wendy…well, I have my letter in Varsity SkeeBall (in my own mind anyway).
Enjoy and be well..love,W
Can I take lessons from you? You are GOOD! Bubs
You’ve got a daughter who sings like a rock star and a son who plays pool like Paul Newman! Geeez!
BTW, I too am amazed by that unorthodox “hand bridge” Finn uses….with 100% accuracy. (Editing! Gotta love the film arts)

PS. AYTT, my email has changed to jerseydrvr@gmail.com (the other address expires at the end of the month) and when I try to change it to the gmail address…your site tells me it’s already registered. What’s a guy to do?
I love the shot of Franny and Jen looking bored in the background, Jen braiding Franny’s hair (or something like that) while the boy does his thing!!!
Also, it’s great having friends travel the world. But it’s even better having friends who are filmmakers travel the world! It’s especially fun keeping up with you guys via your videos!!!!
Wow, 53 days already??? It seems like you guys just left.
WAY TO GO, FINN!!!!!
Please keep practicing Finny! When you get back from this expedition, I will challenge you to a match of 9-ball.
While your trip will not take you into the belly of New Jersey this time around, if you visited, you would soon realize that pool halls are to be found in abundance in “The Garden State”. In fact, I grew up in a few of them!
I promise to go easy on you. Lol.

I have your new nickname “Pool Shark” Finn. Get it, Shark fin? hehehe.
Okay that’s it. That’s incredible.
